how sad!!
my kids all were in bed and asleep by 7.30pm, Greg is at work, and i get time to myself and what do i do?!!
I wash up........................!!!
oh well. someone's gotta do it i guess.

if only i had a dishwasher!!


Driving home
in the car on the way home from picking Hannah up from pre-school.

Kaylee says to Hannah."I missed you today and i was sad"
"Hannah can you tickle me when we get home, cause Mummy did it to me when you at big school"

Max cut his 1st tooth today.

he wasnt impressed with me trying to hold his head.

I gave Max pumpkin today and he gagged and spat out every last bit i put in his mouth , he pulled faces like he was eating a lemon

LOL was funny to watch.

he loves mashed potato and banana so far.

Big School

Last night Hannah and i went up to her big school for parents information night.
Greg stayed home with Max n Kaylee.
i think i was 1 of only 3 mums up there without a partner , and there were only 2 other kids besides Hannah, but when we got there, we got out of the car and Hannah had the biggest smile , and she ran to the gate, and said "hurry up Mum" then i got to the gate and she ran up the stairs, yelling out "follow me Mum i know where to go".

we found the kinder rooms , theres 2 kinder classes, and they have a door that divides the rooms but it stays open all the time, and theres a teacher at either end of the room, but the class works in smaller groups, so its really a class of 30 or 40 kids with 2 teachers.

some kids that are in kinder this yr, did a fashion parade of the uniform and they have black skorts and a white polo shirt or a black n white check dress. Hannah wants the dress, so will probably get that some time next week.

all the parents got a bag of booklets and things to read, and a hat, as soon as we got home Hannah put on her hat and checked herself out in the mirror, she smiled so hard , her cheeks almost cracked all the way to her ear lobes. LOL! (will come back later and add a photo)

so next is Nov 3rd, child and parents (no siblings, as its to distracting) can go for orientation, then again Nov 12th, and its just the child and the teachers. Parents are asked to leave quickly. ..................... i might just watch thru the window and wave or something LOL!!!! ( imagine me outside the window tapping on the glass yelling Hannah..and waving . LOL!!!! i'd prob get sent to the principle's office and be made to stand in the corner til Hannah is finished PMSL!!!)

we had 10mins in 4 different sections, one was maths, and that teacher said that by the end of their 1st yr in kinder the kids will be able to count to 100 and write up to 30, and i said to her, but Hannah can to that now, and so she gave Hannah a dice and some counters and a piece of paper with 10 circles on it, and she said to roll the dice, if you get 6 then put down 6 counters ( they were like coloured coins) on the 6 circles, but dont put anymore down until you roll a four.
so Hannah rolled a 2 then a 6 so she had 8 and 2 spare circles. then she rolled a four, and she said i need a '2' mum, and the teacher said, to everyone, this is the perfect example of orientation, to see what each childs skill level is, and gifted children can be given more challenging tasks,,,,,.......and i thought to myself ................did u hear that, Hannah is gifted. no wonder she drives me up the wall she needs more brain stimulation LOL
then the other 3 were about kids on computers, and how they teach reading and writing, and telling parents that kids do what they see, and talked about social skills

so all up it was alot of info for 2hrs, but it was pretty good.

Max was crying in bed and hannah was talking into the parents unit of the monitor saying its ok max i love you max, its alright shh shh shh

(the parents unit is sound only .. no microphone LOL)

Kaylee says to Max. " u are my widdle bwudda arent you, and you lus (love) me dont you. cause i lus you too."

tonight Greg n Max were doing some male bonding, and Greg said Max smelt like wee, i said"but i just changed him" so Greg leans down and smells Max right on his nappy, then just as he did it, Max did a huge pop-off right in his Daddy's face................lmao!!! was so funny.

Max is 6mths old today!

NOOOOOOO ..............where is the time going, he has had his 1st taste of rice cereal and apple puree, he wasnt really interested but theres no rush.
Max had his needles on wednesday. poor little man, just the look on his face mad me sad,cause it hurt him. but 5 seconds later he was all good again!
I took him to the baby clinic today for his health check and she had a few concerns, and we have been referred to a paediatrition and a few other things, hes just slower then the norm but i just want to make sure that thing in his brain during the pregnancy hasnt got anything to do with it.!!
his stats are:
head 45cm
height 69cm
weight 7.46kg.
size 0 in full piece and 00 in tops n bottoms.

Max

I took Max to the dr 22/8/08 he had a cold and was having trouble clearing his nose, would be so much easier for him if he knew how to blow his little nose. thankfully its not in his chest it just all seems to be stuck in his throat, my poor little fella. while we were at the Dr i weighed him and he was 6.150kg which wasnt a huge gain as the last time he was weighed was 10.7.08 and he was 5.790kg so in 6wks he only gained 360g which wasnt good so i then went into worry mode and took him to the baby clinic on the 26th and she weighed him at 6250g which was good it was a 100g gain, but he should be putting on an average of 150g - 250g per week at this stage.also he has been feeding alot and not being satisfied after breastfeeds so im thinking also my supply is low, because he has had a cold and has had trouble feeding and breathing at the same time, slowly over time my supply has dropped off, and as it was a gradual thing i didnt really notice until he was no longer sleeping thru the night and always crying at the breast when the milk ran out, he would suck and then pull off n cry, then have a few more sucks then pull off and cry again, so each time i ended up giving him a 120ml bottle of expressed milk from the freezer and he would be off to sleep and i think the other thing to was that him being the 3rd one, i dont know if i am more relaxed with him cause he is my 3rd am im all experienced now LOL or if its just cause he is an excellent baby, but i was taking it for granted that he would just he and sleep and play and he was just an easy baby in general.anyway turns out he is a lazy feeder because he would drink all the let down milk but then he wouldnt work to fully empty my breast so therefore my supply dropped off as he wasnt fully draining me, i went from being able to express 140mls down to only 40mls, so a pretty big drop, it was just so gradual over the past 6wks and thats why i didnt really notice. so i got some motilium from the Dr which makes my body make heaps of milk and fed every 2-3hrs around the clock for 2wks and now thankfully we are back on track, but i think Max had just started sleeping from 11pm thru to 7am and all my good sleeps have gone right out the window now, cause he wakes up around 3am everynight now for a feed, which i dont really mind cause it helps keep my supply up and it wont be forever , and i love my little man to pieces.9.9.08 i took him for a weight check and he had gained 400g, he was up to 6.650kg so that is bloody unreal for 2weeks of hard work.secretly if I had of had Max 1st i dont think i wouldve had more kids for about 4yrs LOL!!!i love having a son, its all i have ever wanted really.Max is becoming the chubba bubba he should be and he is getting those lovely baby fat rolls that u could just eat LOL.his next check is 6mths.

25/9/08 Kaylee

Kaylee.my big girl Kaylee is finally in undies.its been 2wks now and she has only had 1 accident, she wet her pants waiting for me to get off the toilet!! naughty mummy.so now all we have to do is tackle the night time nappy and if she makes it by 3 then she will be on par with Hannah, Hannah did daytime undies at 2yrs and night time undies just b4 3yrs.Kaylee is our family clown, she loves screwdivers and daddy's socket set, and she likes helping daddy fix his motorbike. her talking skills are excellent, she can say the alphabet and count to 22.she always tells us of a night, goodnight i love you more n more n more n more i love u 22, do u love me 22, and we say yep and have a hug n a kiss then she rolls over n goes to sleep.I think Kaylee definatly has the short gene.theres a alot of one liners and things she says that i should just write down as soon as she says them cause my memory is so hopeless, i just blame it on lack of sleep atm.

25/9/08 Hannah

Hannah is going so well at pre-school, the teachers give the kids focus days, and when it was Hannahs day to have all the attention, her teachers Ivka and Sheryl said they didnt realise how smart Hannah is and how much she actually knows , they said its alot for her age, most kids in big school dont do what she does. they said because she is so shy and quiet that they dont always notice.eg her drawings and very detailed, they have ears belly buttons , they said which most 4yrs olds dont add, her writing skills are great, she can write the whole alphabet, and all the numbers up to 20.takes after her mother , shes so clever LMAO!!!shes a good mumy's helper, she will change Kaylees nappy (not for the last 2wks) she will put Max's dummy back in for me, and she keeps telling me she will do it or like it when she is 5. eg doesnt like corn for dinner but she will ike it when she is 5. lol so cute.
